Research

Clients have found that mailing product development and research surveys to our subscribers is a quick and cost-efficient method of building statistically sound data. It’s also easy to target the consumers you want to reach using our segmented data – from geography to topic to activity. Here are just a few examples:

Product Development — As a client recently shared . . .”previously we used traditional focus groups to test product development ideas. That process is time consuming, takes months, and is expensive. Historically we’ve spent on R&D, manufacturing and product placement and have not always had success.  In the past couple of years we’ve used the Prime Publishing subscribers as a focus group and we’ve found that they mirror our target demographic. Advertising and Marketing Awareness — Clients also use pre- and post-awareness surveys to provide additional measurement of the success of their marketing efforts. Some clients use the surveys to measure the success of their ads in national media; others use them to measure specific effectiveness with their solo and newsletter ads within the Prime Publishing content media.

Product Sampling — We all know that product sampling can be expensive and wasteful using traditional methods.  Prime Publishing clients are able to send out samples to qualified consumers by promoting the offer in our newsletters and via solo emails. The consumers click through to the client landing page and provide requested data. The clients are then able to target the consumers that match their target demographic, geography, and interests — and keep the consumer data on hand for future promotional and follow-up efforts.

Top Trends — Companies can purchase a weekly or monthly data feed on projects or recipes that are trending, have burst on to the scene, are slowing down, or did well last year.  Our 65 million plus page views of content monthly assure a large sample size, giving clients actionable use of important trend data. Trends can also be broken out by topic with source data including social media, direct to site, internal and external media, and more.
