August 01 , 2013Northbrook, IL-Stuart Hochwert, president and founder of Prime Publishing, LLC, spoke at the Create-n-Connect Conference & Trade Show, hosted by the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 22, 2013. CHA is an international, not-for-profit trade association consisting of thousands of member companies engaged in the design, manufacture, distribution and retail sales of products in the nearly $30 billion U.S. craft and hobby industry.
Hochwert’s seminar, entitled Low Cost, Easy, & Effective Methods to Market Online, discussed how to maximize one’s ROI while generating high-quality, consistent traffic. The seminar went in-depth in discussing essential pages every site must have, from contact information to general content building; specifics on the importance of different social media tools and how often one should post; the types of content needed to keep one’s audience actively engaged; and how to address negative feedback and promote positive feedback. The seminar used specific examples from the Prime’s community of cooking and crafting sites to demonstrate how to quickly and efficiently build one’s audience and create a successful site for marketers and consumers alike.
