Prime Publishing Celebrates 5 Years of Successful Networking

Northbrook, IL — This year marked the 5^th anniversary of the annual Prime Publishing LLC Networking Event at the Craft and Hobby Association’s crafting conference, Creativation. For the past five years, Prime Publishing has hosted a networking event in conjunction with sponsoring companies to connect bloggers, authors, and designers with networking opportunities.  Over last five years, the event’s attendance has more than doubled.  In 2017 alone, over 200 people attended the event to connect with the event’s sponsors, an increase of 25% over 2016. With over 400 crafting manufacturers and businesses showcasing their 12,000+ products at Creativation, this networking event allowed bloggers, authors, and designers to connect and chat with sponsors in a friendly and relaxed setting.

Held in the Renaissance Hotel Phoenix’s ballroom, the event offered free drinks, heavy appetizers, and plenty of room and time to network.  Held from 5:30PM – 7:30PM, the event allowed top craft bloggers, authors, and designers to connect with our sponsors and form lasting, mutually beneficial relationships.  The sponsors, in turn, were happy to chat and give out samples of their newest and best products.

Creativation 2018 is slated for January 18-22, 2018. The Prime Publishing team is already brainstorming ways to plan a bigger and better event next year.

e-Mail Newsletters – Opt-in newsletter subscribers that deliver a scaled, quality audience are engaged in topics pertinent to their home and lifestyle.

Fact: Consumers prefer e-mail as a primary method of communications in their personal and business capacities. According to Lyris Labs and The Economist, 52% of consumers put e-mail newsletters in their top three preferred methods of communication. In fact, 37% would put e-mail newsletters as number one over social media, word of mouth, mobile communication, and more.

A recent report from LiveIntent notes that 91% of consumers still check their e-mail daily and remains 40x more effective for marketing than Facebook and Twitter combined. Likewise, marketing company Custora found that e-mail consumers were 11% more valuable than the average consumer, especially when acquiring new business.

Ad spending for e-mail newsletters is predicted to continue to rise in 2014, according to eMarketer, to $177.76 billion, an increase of 3.9% over 2013.
