RecipeLion Hosts First Facebook Live

Northbrook, IL — RecipeLion and test kitchen chef, Addie Gundry, are hosting their first Facebook Live event on Thursday, January 18 at 2pm CST. The event will celebrate the recent publication of the latest cookbooks in the 103 cookbook series, Retro Recipes from the ’50s and ’60s and Essential Slow Cooker Recipes, which came out on January 9, 2018.

The Facebook Live event will feature Gundry demonstrating how to make Strawberry Shortcake from the Retro Recipes book and answering questions live. Attendees who RSVP will have the chance to win a signed cookbook from Gundry.

Retro Recipes from the ’50s and ’60s and Essential Slow Cooker Recipes are the fifth and sixth cookbooks in the 103 cookbook series, published by St. Martin’s Press. Previous cookbooks include Family Favorite Casserole Recipes, No-Bake Desserts, Everyday Dinner Ideas, and Easy Cookie Recipes. All books are available in bookstores nationwide and online at Barnes & Noble and Amazon.

Retro and Slow Cooker Books

Gundry received her masters in culinary arts at Auguste Escoffier in Avignon, France and has worked for several notable chefs, including Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller, and Martha Stewart with management, restaurant openings, brand development, editorial, marketing, and sales. In 2015, Gundry won Cutthroat Kitchen on The Food Network.
