RecipeLion Releases The Lighten Up Cookbook
May 08 , 2018Northbrook, IL — RecipeLion and Addie Gundry, in partnership with St. Martin’s Griffin, released the latest cookbook in the 103 cookbook series, The Lighten Up Cookbook: 103 Easy, Slimmed-Down Favorites for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Everyone Will Love, on May 8, 2018.
This is the ninth book in the series. Previous books in the series included Family Favorite Casserole Recipes, No-Bake Desserts, Everyday Dinner Ideas, Easy Cookie Recipes, Essential Slow Cooker Recipes, Retro Recipes from the ’50s and ’60s, Homemade Soup Recipes, and Easy Chicken Recipes. Upcoming cookbooks will feature holiday recipes and cakes.
The author of the cookbook series is chef Addie Gundry. She received her masters in culinary arts at Auguste Escoffier in Avignon, France and has worked for several notable chefs, including Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller, and Martha Stewart on management, restaurant openings, brand development, editorial, marketing, and sales. Gundry won Cutthroat Kitchen on The Food Network in 2015, and she was a contestant on Food Network Star in 2017.
Recipes featured in the cookbook include Skinny Corn Casserole, Cinnamon Roll Smoothie, and Pineapple Fluff (shown below).
