Prime Publishing Participates in Facebook Award-Winning Social Campaign
July 13 , 2016Prime Publishing is excited to announce that the Eddie the Eagle social media campaign, #IKnitforEddie, was chosen as a winner in the 5th Annual Facebook Awards. These awards, awarded by the social media platform in recognition of excellence in marketing and advertising, were awarded to 29 companies worldwide. The #IKnitforEddieCampaign and #ICrochettforEddie campaign was spear-headed by the in-house marketing team at Jimmy Beans Wool in conjunction with efforts from several yarn-centered companies in the crafting sphere, including Prime Publishing LLC. Jimmy Beans Wool was one of only 2 small businesses recognized in the annual awards.
Prime Publishing LLC hosted a pre-screening of the independent film that centers on the true story of a British ski-jumper who completes in the 1988 Calgary Olympics as well as provided digital marketing support for the campaign. With several social media blasts to the AllFreeKnitting and AllFreeCrochet social channels as well as email marketing campaigns to our 1.1 million knit and crochet subscribers, Prime Publishing LLC is proud to have played a central part of the campaign.
