Addie Gundry Speaks at the Lake Forest Library

Northbrook, IL —Addie Gundry, RecipeLion’s test kitchen chef and executive producer, was at the Lake Forest Library on April 25, 2018 to talk about her career and demonstrate a recipe from her cookbook, No-Bake Desserts. Participants got the opportunity to watch Addie make a no-bake Vanilla Beach Cup and then come up for a meet-and-greet while making their own. Gundry got the chance to meet with Kristin Cavallari before the event who was at the Lake Forest Book Store to promote her new cookbook.

RecipeLion and St. Martin’s Griffin are releasing a series of cookbooks, eight of which are currently out on the market, including Homemade Soup Recipes, Easy Chicken Recipes, Family Favorite Casserole Recipes, Easy Cookie Recipes, Retro Recipes from the ’50s and ’60s, Essential Slow Cooker Recipes, Everyday Dinner Ideas, and No-Bake Desserts. The ninth book in the series, The Lighten Up Cookbook, will be released on May 8, 2018 and is available now for pre-order from Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Author Addie Gundry received her masters in culinary arts at Auguste Escoffier in Avignon, France and has worked for several notable chefs, including Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller, and Martha Stewart on management, restaurant openings, brand development, editorial, marketing, and sales. In 2015, Gundry won Cutthroat Kitchen on The Food Network, and in 2017, she was a contestant on Food Network Star.
