October 2018 – Halloween isn’t Just for Kids!
No siree – or the adults who work here at Prime really bring our their inner child for holidays! Halloween festvities are always crazy fun here at the office, and every year, it seems more people get in on the act. We enjoy pizza, candy, a costume contest, and games – what a great way to break up the day and get everyone smiling!
June 2017 – Ice Cream Social at Prime Publishing
This year, the office celebrated the first day of summer by having an ice cream social in one of the conference rooms. Employees spent a fun hour on a hot afternoon enjoying frozen treats, small talk, and getting to know our summer interns. Click here to read more about the event.
March 2017 – Painting Party with The Painted Penguin
On March 21st, 2017, our staff got to embrace their inner artist and create lovely canvas paintings with our friends at The Painted Penguin. There were plenty of laughs, plenty of Bob Ross references, and each employee got to take their masterpiece home. Click here to read all about this fun afternoon.
October 2016 – Halloween is Serious Business!
Who says Halloween is just for the little kids? Here at Prime Publishing, tons of the “big kids” get REALLY into the holiday – even the boss. There is candy, a costume contest, and a pizza party, and some folks really go all out. Our creative team – and they really ARE creative – decorated their whole office area as “Stranger Things” from Netflix. See for yourself!
June 2016 – Fun Times at Prime
On June 8th, 2016, our staff took a break and enjoyed an afternoon of good food and a few games of Whirlyball. Whirlyball is a combination of lacrosse and basketball… played on bumper cars. February 2016 – Prime Publishing Supports 20th Century Fox and Eddie the Eagle Movie Premiere
On June 8th, 2016, our staff took a break and enjoyed an afternoon of good food and a few games of Whirlyball. Whirlyball is a combination of lacrosse and basketball… played on bumper cars. Yes, it is just as silly as it sounds, but a whole lot of fun!
20th Century Fox and Prime Publishing, LLC hosted an early screening of Eddie The Eagle, a film starring Hugh Jackman and Taron Egerton. Based on the true story of Michael “Eddie” Edwards, the film follows the British ski-jumper as he competes at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. Eddie came from a family who supported his dreams through knitting, and we were excited to show our support, too! Check us out:
January 2016 – Prime Publishing Editors Show Their School Spirit
Prime is a melting pot of alumni from colleges near and far. Many of our employees are Illinois residents who have gone to our state’s colleges; however, some people have travelled many miles to gain their educations and to make our staff that much more interesting. Every once in a while, we like to promote some school spirit and pay homage to our alma maters. Employees dig their beloved school hoodies, t-shirts, and spirit wear out of their closets to wear for a day. We even have fun teaming up by school when possible! Through employee referrals and intern programs, our community grows with those who have known each other throughout the years.
We love having a diverse staff, combining minds and talents from all over!
December 2015 – Prime Publishing Gets Into the Holiday Spirit
Members of the Prime staff really enjoy their ugly Christmas sweaters, and the annual holiday party is always a good time! Folks even get into the spirit by decorating their cubicles. It truly is the festive season, with members of our staff celebrating Chanukah, Christmas, Kwanza, Winter Solstice, Feast Days, and more.
