The Online Marketing Analyst is responsible for executing, reporting and analysis in support of our 19 cooking and crafting websites. You will also be responsible for executing programs such as our affiliate, paid search, organic search, and other related online programs.

We are looking for entry level On-Line Marketing Analysts, perfect for undergraduate or graduate degrees including Marketing, Journalism, English, Communications, Statistics or Economics. You will be part of a skilled and dedicated marketing team supporting our online cooking and crafting communities. This position reports to our marketing manager with a heavy emphasis on paid search.

Primary Responsibilities:
I.  Pay-Per-Click – Search Engine Marketing (PPC/SEM)
- Develop and test new keywords.
- Monitor and analyze campaigns to meet conversion goals.
- Conduct hands-on bid optimization.

- Develop testing plans, implement new strategies, and measure the results.

- Work with editors and affiliate managers to create greater traffic opportunities.
- Research and reach out to web sites directly in our niche content areas.
- Work with sales team to create traffic-generating opportunities.

V.  Self-Development
- At least one report, article, or book on web-based on-line marketing theories and development has been read each quarter.
- At least two on-line or related seminars have been attended per year.
- A variety of relevant trade, self-development, and marketing publications are reviewed regularly.

Reporting and Analysis:
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and event based reporting.
- Conduct portal, search engine, campaign, keyword and affiliate partner sales and profitability analysis.
- Perform analysis on data to determine consumer engagement relationships.
- Perform database analysis and data mining activities through ad-hoc requests.
- Provide additional E-Commerce program recommendations.
