AllFreeSewing Celebrates National Sewing Month 2018
October 09 , 2018Northbrook, IL – For the fifth year in a row, Prime Publishing has joined the sewing and quilting community to celebrate National Sewing Month in September. This month-long event included brand new sewing tutorials, techniques, and instructional videos on AllFreeSewing.com and Facebook. Sewists, quilters, and those interested in learning how to sew were provided with advice for specific machines or techniques, along with free and unique designs to make. Tutorials included the Vintage Christmas Wreath Beaded & Embroidered Ornaments by Anna Wilson, How to Sew on Sequins by Rebecca George, and Easy Sock Snowmen by Jenny Bowden.
Prime Publishing’s National Sewing Month 2018 celebration garnered more than 150,000 page views for AllFreeSewing and featured 14 never-before-seen tutorials from top sewing designers and our in-house team of experts, as well as three Facebook Live videos, which gained 20,000+ views.
We also had several small giveaways during September including fabric and tools, but the most anticipated giveaway was our grand prize of a Janome M7200 sewing machine, which received more than 10,000 entries.
